Health Tip: Use lutein

Lutein for dry eyes
I am sure many of you have experienced dry eyes, whether it comes from the dry air, contact lenses, allergies, or other reasons.
Here is something that I tried and that could help you with that. Apart from eye drops, I found something else…¨Lutein¨.
Lutein it’s a type of vitamin called carotenoid. It is related to beta-carotene and vitamin A.
Foods with lutein
Foods rich in lutein include: egg yolks, broccoli, spinach, kale, corn, orange, pepper, kiwi fruit, grapes, orange juice, zucchini, and squash. Also Lutein is absorbed best when it is taken with a high-fat meal. For example eat those foods with an avocado or some olive oil.
You can go for the food option, but I personally take it in a tablets form. It’s more convenient for me. There are different brands on the market but I always tend to go for the organic natural ones.
Properties of lutein vitamin
Lutein has anti inflammatory and anti oxidant properties and a large amount of studies show its beneficial effect on the health of eyes.
I hope this will work for you as well. Please share if you have any tips concerning lutein.
P.S. Always consult with your physician or a health expert before starting something new to make sure it is safe for you.
Thanks for listening,
